The purpose of the FYI Club is to address issues that affect youth today and to encourage healthy lifestyles and foster independent action and thought. This club sponsors activities for the Great American Smoke-Out, Grim Reaper (Drinking & Driving Awareness) and other issues of interest as voted on by the club members. The club also sponsors an annual FYI Teen Issues Day and invites guest speakers to present on teen topics. The FYI Club is the “parent organization” of several peer education programs: Cultural Heritage Panel, STAT (Students Teaching About Tobacco) and the FYI Tutoring Program. All students are invited to participate.
